On Tuesday 16 December 2025, Circular Shift attended the Interreg North-West Europe annual conference in Luxembourg City. The theme of this year's event was "Creating lasting impact". Amber Spuijbroek, Circular Shift coordinator at Rijkswaterstaat presented the project to an audience of ca. 40 people, showcasing the goals and origins of our initiative. Circular Shift also featured with a poster in the main gallery of the event, alongside 70 other EU-funded projects. Throughout the conference, there were many interesting discussions and workshops exploring possibilities for the long-term uptake of project results.
Engaging with other public authorities from North-West Europe as well as NGOs and civil society stakeholders, the event was an opportunity for Circular Shift to explore synergies with other projects and build our audience. "We received lots of welcome feedback from organisations who are keen to put Circular Shift's outcomes to use within their own contexts", said Amber. "We've also earned some good insights into other projects and possible collaboration opportunities", she added.
